Upon returning from the war, Dad found work quickly in the construction business as a draftsman, and eventually as an architect, to becoming the Vice President for Charbonnet Construction Co., which later became Marsiglia Construction Co. Continuing as the Vice President for well over 40 years, where Mr. Jimmy, as he was known to his coworkers, was involved the project planning, design and build to documentation, to contract administration and project management. Mr. Jimmy’s long-time employment and hard work has earned him the respect and admiration of all the men and women who worked for him over the years, as each genuinely had a special reverence for him.
Nick is survived by his wife of 70 years Joan Taormina Nicoll; his 5 children, David, Mike (Robin), Torrie (Drew), Tracey (Staci), and Randy (Juli); his grandchildren, Aimee (AJ), Lance (Kelly), Michael, Jr., Evan (Julie), Lexis, Marlee, and Payten; his great granddaughters, Ella and Faye Nicoll, along with Mabel Thibert; and great grandson, Douglas Thibert.
